Short description:

the project aimed to exchange information and experience collected during the transposition of provisions related to the Directive among member states. It brought together representatives from national administrations or designated agencies responsible for implementing the regulations. The project covered seven main topics:

  • certification schemes,
  • inspections of heating and air conditioning systems,
  • training of experts and inspectors,
  • energy efficiency requirements in the cost optimization methodology,
  • buildings with nearly zero energy consumption,
  • compliance assessment and control of energy efficiency requirements and certification system / independent control system,
  • effectiveness of support initiatives.

The project results included, among others: national certification and inspection schemes for boilers, heat pumps and air conditioning systems; training programs for qualified specialists as harmonized as possible, with quality control and certification compliance; harmonized cost optimization methodology concepts to define minimum requirements; concepts for energy buildings with nearly zero emission.
